About us

The Skills and Learning for London Partnership has been formed to represent those organisations with an interest in promoting learning to young people and adults.

This site aims to inform you about the work of the Skills and Learning for London Partnership. To find out more, register your details and we will contact you.

 

The Professional Development Centre  is a great room if you are looking to hold any meetings/workshops for a maximum of 25.

SLLP is a partnership of organisations that provide or support education and training of adults and young people over the age of 14.

Our aim is to improve learning opportunities, learner engagement and progression through partnership and collaborative working.

SLLP membership fees are there to cover the administrative costs of running the partnership for all its members. 

As a member of SLLP, anyone in your organisation can access a range of valuable support including: 

4      Themed networks

4      Regular briefings on a range of topical issues

4      Forums and specialist groups

4      Monthly e-bulletins for all members

4      Free job advertising and events promotion through the website and bulletins

4     Information on bidding opportunities

4     Meeting and training room hire at reduced rates

Employment, Skills and IAG

This network is open to members with an interest in Skills and Employment policies, Train to Gain, development of skills accounts, level 2 and 3 achievements, job brokerage and employability of adults

 

ITT / CPD

This network is open to members with an interest in Skills and Employment policies, employability, skills training for adults, employer engagement, pathways to work and all aspects of information, advice and guidance for young people and adults.

14-19

This network is open to members with an interest in the 14-19 agenda.  The group will cover Diploma Development, Apprenticeships, Foundation Learning, curriculum development, IAG, NEET engagement, employability and all learning provision for 14-19 year olds.

Skills for Life & Functional Skills Forum

This network is open to members involved with developments in adult literacy, numeracy and ICT, functional skills, Foundation Learning and all curriculum developments below Level 2.

Sub Regional LLDD Strategy Groups

This network is open to members involved with provision for learners with learning difficulties and / or disabilities, routes to employment, IAG and support.

  

Health & Social Care Education Forum

This network is open to all (members and non members) and is aimed at those working in the care sector, both as providers and employers. It will cover all issues related to delivery of training and future workforce developments such as the Personalization Agenda.
